Il Premio Pirelli per l'Italia è suddiviso nelle due categorie Senior e Junior che sono riservate a cittadini italiani e destinati, rispettivamente, l'uno a professionisti e l'altro a giovanissimi autori di età non superiore ai 21 anni. Il premio ammonta a 10,000 euro ciascuno.

Il Premio Pirelli per l'Italia rappresenta un'occasione per la comunità scientifica italiana di confrontarsi con le nuove tecnologie e di proporre progetti di comunicazione scientifica altamente innovativi, sempre nell'ambito delle categorie principali del "Premio Pirelli".

The "Pirelli for Italy" Award is subdivided into two categories: Senior and Junior, which are reserved for Italian nationals and granted, respectively, to professionals and young multimedia authors no older than 21 years of age. The prize amounts to 10,000 euro each.

The "Pirelli for Italy" Award represents an opportunity for the Italian scientific community to tackle new technologies by proposing highly innovative projects, within the framework of the main categories of the Pirelli Internetional Award.
