Director of Institutional Affairs and External Relations of the Pirelli Group. He has been editorial director for Il Sole 24 Ore, Italy's foremost financial daily, and for the ApCom news agency; as an economic journalist, he published various books on Italian capitalism; these include Intervista ai capitalisti, 2005 (Interviews with capitalists) and Agnelli. Una storia italiana, 2004 (Agnelli. An Italian story). He teaches Journalism at Milan's prestigious Bocconi University and is a columnist for several newspapers and economics periodicals.
