The Pirelli Internetional Award jury consists of five separate panels, each tasked with evaluating science communication works in a specific scientific field. The five panels represent the fields of physics, chemistry, mathematics, life sciences and ICT.

Except for the Top Pirelli Prize, which is voted on by all jurors, the jurors do not vote on or influence decisions made by panels outside their field. For the Twelfth Edition of the Pirelli Internetional Award, the jurors are:

Physics Panel:

• Riccardo Giacconi, Physicist, 2002 Nobel Prize;
• Konrad Osterwalder, Rector ETH Zurich;
• Maria Nicolaci, physics Ph.D. student at Rome University.

• Harold Kroto, Chemist, 1996 Nobel Prize;
• Antonio Calabrò, Director of Institutional Affairs and External Relations, Pirelli;
• Laura Tanzilli, chemistry student at Rome University.
